Basic Trust Packages
For married couples, the basic trust package includes a living trust, two pour-over wills, and one California deed to transfer the clients’ residence to the trust. The price of a basic trust package for married couples starts at $3,990.
For married couples whose net worth is in excess of $11.4 million (2019 Federal Estate Tax limit) requiring an AB Trust, the price of a basic trust package starts at $6,775.
For single persons, the basic trust package includes a living trust, one pour-over will, and one California deed to transfer the client’s residence to the trust. The price of a basic trust package for a single person starts at $3,425.
Premium Trust Packages
For married couples, the premium trust package includes a living trust, two pour-over wills, one California deed to transfer the clients’ residence to the trust, two advance health care directives, and two durable powers of attorney for financial purposes. The price of a premium trust package for married couples starts at $4,650.
For married couples whose net worth is in excess of $11.4 million requiring an AB Trust, the price for a premium trust package starts at $7,435.
For single persons, the premium trust package includes a living trust, one pour-over will, one California deed to transfer the client’s residence to the trust, one advance health care directive, and one durable power of attorney for financial purposes. The price of a premium trust package for a single person starts at $3,995.
Deeds
The fee for additional deeds for trust packages start at $588 per deed for California real property, this includes preparation, signing, notarization, recordation of the deed, and recording fees. For Non-Owner occupied properties the fee is $710 per deed, due to the additional recording fees. Fees may be higher for out-of-state deeds, depending on the recording fees charged by each county.
Other Fees
Wills (that are not part of a trust package): start at $910 per person, and at $1,655 per married couple, or registered domestic partners, this includes witnessing and three copies of each will.
Health Care Directives or Power of Attorneys (that are not part of a trust package): start at $588 per person, and at $800 per couple.
Special Needs Trusts such as Qualified Principal Residence Trusts, ILITS start at $3,970 and Real Property Land Trusts start at $3,970.
